as Bond Street is the most well-known
and oldest street in Kota Kinabalu.
It is a popular destination on
Sunday morning among local and
international tourist for its
various attraction mainly for
local handicrafts, souvenirs,
batik sarongs, fruits and even
flowers! The Sunday market which
internationally known here is
open on every Sunday morning from
6.30 am till 1.00 pm. On weekdays,
the street is open for cars to
allow daily businesses conducted
in the shop houses. At the end
of every month, banks which located
along the street will usually
full with crowds as most of government
servants receive their full-month
wages. |
